About Wendy Miner

23 of September 2008

I graduated from a grooming school here in Denver in 1989. I have fallen in love with the profession. Continuing education is very important to me. I attend as many seminars as my schedule will allow. After 2 and a half years of hard work, I completed my Master Groomer certification with National Dog Groomers’ Association of America.

I was the President of the Colorado Professional Pet Groomers’ Association and served on the state grooming assoc. in various positions since 2001. I’ve worked at several shops in the Denver area and went out on my own in 2001, starting my own salon in my neighborhood. I love the small town feel of Park Hill and you can see this reflected in Park Hill Pooch.

I have also volunteered my grooming talents at the Denver Municipal Animals Shelter. Helping these dogs look their best so they can get a new forever-home is my heart’s passion.

I can not take on new clients. My schedule is full with the clients I have presently. I am currently leasing space from The Beauty Bark.

My present crew is made up of second hand pets: Sunshine, Chispita, Fred, and Kitten Kaboodle.

  7. WOW! What a GREAT website! I have been all over every page. Lots of information, and great pictures. You have been so good with Zoey. She is wiggly, but you always make her look fabulous! And boy, does she know it!

  8. Annie and Belle looked extremely cute Monday. I loved their green bandanas. I swear they know they look great. I love your web site and look through it many mornings in my office before I start in on the day. Looking at all the wonderful pictures is a great stress reliever. Thanks Wendy.

  9. Thanks, Wendy, for your wonderful job on Button. Her summer clip still leaves her looking natural, but lots cooler and easier to maintain than her normal six inches of Coton coat. She thinks she’s a puppy again, and indeed looks like one!
